"North of Hummingbird Music Camp"

by Robert Benjamin

"In Fall of 2003, Gordon Van Wert and I found this scene while driving north on State Route 4, just past the Hummingbird Music Camp, on the way to Los Alamos. We were traveling the "back" way to Santa Fe. I can't remember why we were going to Santa Fe, but we were enjoying the ride. I thought this scene was so pleasant and so typical of the area that I wanted it for myself. I love painting New Mexico"
